Do Watauga yards actually get chiggers?

The honest limits of chigger treatment on a Watauga lot
It cannot reach chiggers under a layer of leaves. On a Watauga lot with forty-year-old trees the litter under the canopy is often the whole problem, and product sprayed on top never reaches the larvae beneath it. Rake it before the visit and the treatment holds; leave it and the same shaded corner bites you again next summer.
It also stops at the fence.
