WHY US

Why Hire Buffalo Outdoor for Pest Control?

Because mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, chiggers, fire ants, chinch bugs and grubs do not live in your kitchen. They live in the turf, the beds and the eaves, which is exactly where our treatment goes. Most pest companies treat the house. We treat the house and everything the house is sitting in.

We hold a Texas Department of Agriculture pest license (TPCL #0822926) and we have been working on North Texas properties since 2016, which is why we can tell you whether those brown patches are drought, disease or chinch bugs before anyone puts a product down. Every plan is year-round, every plan is warrantied between visits, and nothing is a contract.

EVERY SINGLE VISIT

The Buffalo Barrier: What Happens When We Show Up

Same five steps, every visit, before we leave your driveway.

1

Inspect and Identify

We walk the property and name the pest. No guessing, no blanket spraying.

2

Treat the Perimeter

Foundation band plus three feet up the walls, where crawling pests actually travel.

3

Sweep the Eaves

Web poles across eaves, soffits, and door frames. Wasps and spiders lose the high ground.

4

Ring the Yard

Granular barrier out 25 feet, into the beds and turf where the biters breed.

5

Dust the Weep Holes

Delta Dust in the brick weep holes, the most-used doorway into a North Texas home.

BE THE BUFFALO

Our Name Is on the License

We are a family-owned company. We started in 2016 mowing yards and grew from there, and today pest control is what we do. Our name is on the Texas pest license, which means when you ask a hard question about what we are putting on your property, the answer comes from the owner and not a script.

The name is not decoration. When a storm rolls in, cattle run away from it and get caught in it. Buffalo run straight through and come out the other side faster. That is the whole idea: run at the hard thing.

Why outside, not inside
Almost every pest you find indoors nested outdoors first. Treating the inside kills what already got in and does nothing about the source, which is why interior-heavy programs need constant repeat visits. We build the barrier outside, so the population never reaches the door, and the product stays away from your kitchen, your kids and your pets. See how the plan works →

Not Sure What Is Biting You?

Answer two questions. We will name the pest, tell you what it costs to treat, and point you at the page that explains it.

QUESTIONS WE GET EVERY WEEK

Pest Control Questions, Answered Straight

Is the treatment safe around kids and pets?

Yes, once it dries. We ask you to keep children and pets off treated turf for about two hours, which is how long a summer application needs in North Texas heat. Everything we apply is labeled for residential use and applied by a licensed applicator at label rate. We also treat the outside of your home rather than the inside, so the products stay away from your kitchen and your dog's bed.

How fast will I stop seeing bugs?

Mosquito pressure drops within a day or two of the first fog. Ants and crawling pests take about a week, because the barrier has to work through the colony rather than just killing what you can see. Fire ants can take two to three weeks with broadcast bait, which is slower than a mound drench but kills the queens instead of moving them.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Our plans are month to month with no cancellation fee. Seasonal programs like mosquito and flea and tick run on a fixed calendar because that is when the pests are active, but you can stop at any time. We would rather earn the next visit than trap you into it.

What if the pests come back between visits?

Your service is 100% warrantied between treatments. Any pest issue that comes up between scheduled visits is covered under that warranty: call or text (817) 349-0580 and we come back and re-treat at no charge.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Buffalo Outdoor holds Texas Department of Agriculture structural pest control license TPCL #0822926, and our owner is a certified commercial applicator in the pest control category. We carry liability insurance and you can verify the license yourself in the TDA public registry.
