Pest Control in Azle, TX

The largest town on Eagle Mountain Lake, straddling the Tarrant and Parker County line.

AZLE, RIGHT NOW

What Is Biting in Azle This Month

Azle sits on the west side of Eagle Mountain Lake, with a mix of established neighborhoods, lakeside lots and acreage on the edges. The lake and the open ground around it drive the work: mosquitoes from the water, chiggers and ticks from the brush line, and fire ants wherever the soil has been disturbed.

The Lake Side

Shoreline lots see the mosquito season start early and run heavy. We treat the resting vegetation along the boundary, and we tell you what standing water to tip out.

Acreage and Pasture Edges

Anywhere the mowed yard meets brush or pasture is chigger and tick territory, and fire ants take the graded ground on the new builds. We treat the edge as the front line.

EVERY PROGRAM WE RUN HERE

Pest Services in Azle

Azle spreads along the west shore of Eagle Mountain Lake, and water that close means the first biting adults arrive before most of the county has given them a thought. From April through September we come at 21-day intervals and fog the vegetation they rest in; an established in-town lot is $59.95 or $69.95 a visit, while an acreage property on the edge of town climbs the table and is quoted outright past 47,000 square feet.

On Home Defender an Azle house is serviced four times a year, and each of those visits covers the exterior walls, the eaves and a 25-foot band of ground, with Delta Dust worked into the weep holes so the brick course itself is treated and not just the air beside it. Fire ant bait is part of the plan, and the monthly price runs $30 to $54 by the square footage of the home.

Complete Home & Lawn Defense takes that same perimeter work and adds the whole yard, front, back and sides, for $40 to $73.50 a month. No contract sits underneath it, so a household that wants it only through the biting months can say so.

Between lake brush, pasture edges and the acreage out on the Parker County side, Azle offers more chigger habitat than most towns its size. The yard treatment on Complete Home & Lawn Defense goes out to the boundary and Home Defender covers the 25 feet nearest the house, but mowing that outer strip short is what makes either one hold.

Fire ants take disturbed ground first in Azle, which means the new builds and anywhere a pad or a drive has lately been cut. Both year-round plans carry broadcast bait across the lawn, and because it is bait and not a drench, the mound you are staring at today will sit there a while before the colony gives out.

Grubs under the sod and armyworms in the fall are the common Azle lawn insects, with chinch bugs turning up wherever St. Augustine was laid into a hot, sunny strip. Drought and a weak sprinkler head imitate all three, so we tug and float test before anything is decided.

Boat sheds, barns and stacked firewood on the bigger Azle lots keep rats sheltered close to the house through the winter. Rodent control is $25 a month added to a year-round plan and covers the inspection, sealing the entries in use, trapping, and returning until the activity stops.

THE FIRST VISIT

What We Look At First in Azle

North Texas brick home with a treated lawn

Tarrant Side or Parker Side

Azle straddles the county line, and the lots on the western edge tend to be larger, with more pasture boundary than the in-town streets ever have. We establish which kind of property we are standing on before deciding how much of the visit goes to the perimeter and how much to the edge.

Anything Holding a Week of Water

Boat covers, tarps, wheelbarrows and a plugged gutter breed mosquitoes on a lake lot faster than the lake itself manages. We go round with you, say what to tip out, and treat the cover around whatever cannot be moved.

Inside the Outbuildings

A barn, a shop or a woodpile is where rats, spiders and scorpions settle long before any of them reach the back door. On the first visit we open each one up and say which is a genuine source and which can be left alone.

WHAT IT COSTS HERE

Azle Prices for House and Lot

In-town Azle homes typically fall between 1,500 and 3,000 square feet, putting Home Defender at $33 to $38 a month and Complete Home & Lawn Defense at $40 to $51.50. A larger lake or acreage house of 3,000 to 4,500 square feet is $38 to $46 or $51.50 to $62, and rodent control is a flat $25 a month on top of either one.

Because mosquito, flea and tick work is billed on the lot, Azle covers a wide spread: $59.95 a visit at 7,001 to 12,000 square feet, $69.95 up to 17,000, $89.95 up to 27,000 and $129.95 up to 47,000, with genuine acreage quoted after we have seen it. Visits land every 21 days April through September, nothing is under contract, and you have the figure before agreeing to a thing.

AZLE QUESTIONS

What Azle Homeowners Ask Us

Do you cover both the Tarrant and Parker County sides of Azle?

Yes, all of Azle, whichever county the lot sits in. Send us the address and we will get you a price the same day.

Half of Azle is in Parker County. Do you cross the line?

We do, and which county the deed names changes neither the price nor the schedule. Azle runs on a single ZIP, 76020, shared with Pelican Bay, and we work all of it. Give us the address and we will say plainly if it falls outside the area.

Is treating my yard pointless with Eagle Mountain Lake right there?

Not pointless, but the expectation matters. Mosquitoes fly, so open water on the doorstep guarantees some traffic whatever we do. What the 21-day cycle removes is the population that has been breeding and resting on your own ground, and that is the bulk of what lands on you in the evening.

Wasps came back two weeks after our last service. Is that another bill?

No bill. Every year-round plan is warrantied across the gap between visits, so we return and treat the eaves again at no cost. Anything that reappears before the next scheduled visit is ours to fix, not a new job to quote.

When could a first Azle appointment actually land?

Most people get one within a week. The crew is big enough that new signups have slots reserved for them instead of being added to the tail of an existing route.
