Pest Control in Trophy Club, TX

A master-planned town built around its golf courses, on the Denton County side of Roanoke.

TROPHY CLUB, RIGHT NOW

What Is Biting in Trophy Club This Month

Trophy Club was laid out around the golf courses, and that shapes the pest work: irrigated turf and water features for mosquitoes, the rough and the greenbelts for ticks and chiggers, and manicured landscaping right up against the brick for everything else.

Course-Side Lots

Homes that back onto the fairways and the rough see the heaviest mosquito and chigger pressure in town. We treat that back boundary as carefully as the front door.

HOA Landscaping

Irrigated beds and shrubs planted tight against the house are covered routes to the foundation. We look at mulch depth and what touches the wall, then treat the whole perimeter.

EVERY PROGRAM WE RUN HERE

Pest Services in Trophy Club

Course irrigation runs all summer in Trophy Club, and water features alongside damp rough give mosquitoes both a nursery and somewhere to rest by day. We fog the resting vegetation along the boundary and through the planting beds every 21 days, April through September, with a typical course-side lot billing $69.95 or $79.95 per visit.

The Home Defender rhythm here is quarterly: four visits across the year, each taking in the exterior walls, the eaves and a 25-foot apron of ground, with the weep holes dusted using Delta Dust every time. Fire ant treatment is folded in at no separate charge, and the monthly figure falls between $30 and $54 according to the square footage of the house.

Complete Home & Lawn Defense is the upgrade that carries treatment across the whole yard instead of the perimeter band alone, which matters on a lot that opens onto the rough. It runs $40 to $73.50 a month, billed month to month, with no contract attached.

Chiggers in Trophy Club live in the rough, the greenbelt strips and the unmowed transition behind course-side fences. The full-yard portion of Complete Home & Lawn Defense treats right out to that line, and Home Defender covers the 25 feet nearest the walls.

Irrigated, well-fed turf is good ground for fire ants, and lawns near the fairways raise mounds after every heavy rain. Broadcast bait over the entire lawn comes with both year-round plans, and fresh mounds in the weeks after a storm are normal rather than a sign the bait failed.

St. Augustine along sun-baked drives is where chinch bugs start in Trophy Club, and the Bermuda across the rest of the lot is what grubs and fall armyworms go after. Since chinch damage and an irrigation gap look identical on a manicured lawn, we run the float test before anything is applied.

Ornamental planting held tight against the brick gives rats a covered run to the garage corners and the weep holes. Adding rodent control to a year-round plan costs $25 a month and covers the inspection, the exclusion on the routes in use, the trapping and the return checks.

THE FIRST VISIT

What We Look At First in Trophy Club

The Fence That Faces the Course

A lot backing onto the rough carries the heaviest tick, chigger and mosquito pressure on the property, and it is always at the back. We begin the walk there and work out how far in the pressure is reaching before planning the treatment.

What the Landscape Plan Put Against the Wall

Uniform foundation planting looks tidy and hides the bottom course of brick completely. We part the shrubs, read the weep holes underneath and say which plants want cutting back a hand's width.

Standing Water Nobody Counts

Irrigation boxes, decorative basins and a tarp thrown over the patio furniture will each hold enough water to raise mosquitoes. We list what to empty and treat the vegetation around whatever has to stay put.

WHAT IT COSTS HERE

Trophy Club Pricing, Plan by Plan

Most homes here sit between 3,000 and 4,500 square feet, so Home Defender is $38 to $46 a month and Complete Home & Lawn Defense is $51.50 to $62. Houses from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet come in at $33 to $38 or $40 to $51.50, and the largest, 4,500 to 6,000, at $46 to $54 or $62 to $73.50. Rodent control is $25 a month whichever plan it attaches to.

The mosquito, flea and tick side is billed per visit against the lot: $69.95 for 12,001 to 17,000 square feet and $79.95 for 17,001 to 22,000, which takes in most of the course-side streets. Service runs every 21 days from April through September, there is no contract, no startup fee and no cancellation fee, and you are given the exact number before anything is scheduled.

TROPHY CLUB QUESTIONS

What Trophy Club Homeowners Ask Us

Do you cover all of Trophy Club?

Yes, the whole town, and Roanoke next door in the same ZIP. Send us the address and we will get you a price the same day.

We back onto the rough. Are the ticks coming off the golf course?

Mostly off the untended strip between your fence and the maintained turf. Ticks and chiggers wait in grass that never gets cut and grab whatever brushes past, so the transition band is where the problem lives, not the mowed fairway. We treat that band and ask you to keep your own side clipped.

Why does our irrigated lawn raise new fire ant mounds days after you bait it?

Because bait works through the colony instead of on contact. Workers carry it underground over days to weeks, and a disturbed colony will often throw up fresh mounds or shift a few feet while that is happening. Watered turf also stays soft enough to mound easily, so keep counting rather than judging by the first week.

Something turned up three weeks after service. Do we pay for a second trip?

Not a dollar. Both year-round plans are warrantied for the stretch between scheduled visits, so we come back and treat again on a text message. It is built into what you already pay each month.

How far out are you booking first visits in Trophy Club?

Rarely more than a week. We staff a big team and leave first-visit slots deliberately open, so new customers are not queued behind existing work.
