LAKE SIDE, ALL YEAR
Does a house near Eagle Mountain Lake need year-round treatment?
More than a dry inland lot does, because the water keeps the ground and the air damp and damp ground is what the insects at the bottom of the food chain need. Azle sits on the west shore and runs from established neighborhoods through lakeside lots to acreage on the edges, and all three share that humidity. Crickets, pillbugs, earwigs and roaches thrive in it, and the spiders and scorpions that eat them follow to the wall.
The Home Defender plan is four visits a year rather than a summer program for exactly that reason. Each visit lays a liquid barrier around the foundation and three feet up the wall, clears eaves, soffits and door frames with a web pole, puts Delta Dust into every brick weep hole and broadcasts a granular barrier roughly 25 feet out. Fire ant bait is included, and there is no contract to sign.
AZLE PRICE BANDS
What a home on this side of the lake pays
Somewhere between $30 and $54 a month, decided by the square footage of the house. Housing here runs from small older places to substantial builds on the water, so the whole table gets used: $30 under 1,500 square feet, $33 to $38 from 1,500 to 3,000, $38 to $46 from 3,000 to 4,500, and $46 to $54 from 4,500 to 6,000. Bigger than that and we measure it and give you a figure.
Complete Home & Lawn Defense covers the entire property rather than a ring and runs $40 to $73.50 a month across those same house sizes. Whichever you pick, there is no startup fee, no cancellation fee and no contract, you get the number before you agree to anything, and one interior treatment is included if something is already inside.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO
Three honest limits near the water
This is not a mosquito plan, and next to a lake that distinction matters. Shoreline property sees the season start early and run heavy, and none of that is touched by a barrier at the foundation. Mosquitoes belong to the program that runs every 21 days from April through September and is billed per visit on lot size.
The granular ring stops about 25 feet from the wall. Where a mowed yard meets brush, pasture or the shoreline, chiggers and ticks hold ground well outside that band, so a property with a long wild edge should be looking at the whole-yard plan rather than expecting the ring to stretch.
And we do not treat what is not yours. Water, public shoreline and a neighbour's brush all stay untouched, which means some pressure will keep arriving no matter how well your side is handled. What we can promise is that the boundary of your own lot gets worked hard, and that anything crossing it between visits is retreated free.
YOUR HALF OF THE JOB
What we treat versus what only you can fix
A good share of the result on an Azle property is decided before a technician arrives. Anything holding water for a week is breeding mosquitoes, a dock box or a shed that stays dark and dry is sheltering spiders and scorpions, and firewood stacked against the house is an invitation. Tipping, moving and clearing those costs nothing and no treatment substitutes for it.
The parts you cannot reasonably do yourself are the ones we charge for: a labeled liquid band at the right rate around the whole foundation, a web pole through eaves and soffits, dust driven into weep holes, broadcast bait that collapses fire ant colonies from the inside. A hardware-store concentrate breaks down in roughly seven days of Texas summer heat, so matching one professional visit means resetting the entire foundation each Saturday from June into August.
WALKING AN AZLE LOT
Where the first visit starts

The boundary of the property
Around the lake a lot of lots still touch brush, pasture or water, and that edge is where the pressure originates. The technician walks it first, points out what to keep mown and treats your side of the line rather than pretending the fence stops anything.

Docks, sheds and stacked wood
Dark, dry, undisturbed storage is scorpion and spider habitat, and it usually sits closer to the house than people realise. We look through it, tell you what to move and treat the structures that are feeding the problem.

The wall, the eaves and the weep holes
Liquid barrier around the slab and three feet up, web pole through the eave and door-frame line, Delta Dust in every weep hole, granular broadcast about 25 feet out with fire ant bait. You need not be home; gate access and a text on the way is the arrangement.
