TWO POST OFFICES, TWO LOTS
What flea and tick pressure looks like on each side of Willow Park
Willow Park is unusual in that the two kinds of North Texas lot sit next to each other. The newer subdivisions on recently graded ground have young turf and almost no shade, so the flea population there is confined to a few damp corners and the tick pressure is low unless the lot backs onto something unmowed.
The established acreage lots along I-20 are the reverse. There the boundary with pasture runs most of the way around, the trees have had decades to grow, and the barns and woodpiles hold exactly the sheltered ground fleas develop in. Ticks come off the pasture edge, fleas come off the outbuildings, and the dog moves both into the house.
The program does not change between them, only the emphasis: the whole lawn plus a foundation band, a visit every 21 days April through September, and a treated buffer wherever the mowing meets rough ground. Your veterinarian handles the animal, and a yard treatment without that in place never quite catches up.
PRICED ON THE LOT, NOT THE ZIP
Why two Willow Park neighbors can pay $59.95 and $109.95
Because the bill follows lot square footage and nothing else. A quarter-acre subdivision lot in Willow Park costs $59.95 a visit; an established three-quarter-acre place costs $109.95; and a property past about an acre is quoted on the treated area once we have walked it. Whether the mail comes from Weatherford or Aledo has no bearing.
On acreage the treated area is the lawn, the house band and the buffer, never the pasture, so the quote is smaller than the acreage would suggest. Nothing is signed, there is no charge to start and nothing owed to quit, and a re-treatment between scheduled visits is included rather than invoiced.

PLAIN LIMITS
Where a Willow Park yard treatment falls short
Fleas that have set up inside the house are beyond the reach of anything applied outdoors. An indoor population lives in the carpet and the pet's bedding and does not need the lawn to keep going, so if you skip the vet's product, the hot wash and the vacuum, a treated Willow Park yard will not stop the biting inside. One interior treatment is part of the program if needed, but it supports those steps rather than replacing them.
On the acreage side, the pasture stays untreated by design. Product spread across hay ground is money that the next windy week undoes, so we hold the line at a buffer along the fence and tell you honestly that ticks will still exist past it.
On the subdivision side, a first-year lawn with no shade and no dog probably does not need this yet. The pest that new Willow Park ground actually has is fire ants, and that is already covered on both year-round plans.
THIS OR COMPLETE HOME & LAWN
Does the whole-yard year-round plan already cover fleas?
No, and the distinction matters for a Willow Park household comparing the two. Complete Home & Lawn Defense treats the perimeter and the entire yard four times a year for ants, spiders, fire ants and the general lawn pests. Four visits a year cannot control fleas, because a flea generation turns over in about three weeks and a quarterly gap leaves several generations untouched.
The Mosquito, Flea & Tick program exists for that reason: same yard, but every 21 days through the warm months, with mosquitoes handled in the same stop. If your problem is fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, this is the program; if it is fire ants and things at the door, the year-round plan is; many acreage households run both.
FIRST VISIT, WILLOW PARK
How the first treatment differs by lot type

Deciding which Willow Park lot you have
A subdivision lot gets a quick hunt for the damp, shaded corners where larvae survive; an acreage lot gets a full walk of the fence line and a look at every outbuilding. We do not run the same visit on both.

Treating in the right order
The lawn is treated in full first, then a band around the foundation, then the buffer along any boundary with pasture or rough ground. Barns, shops and woodpiles get their perimeters treated; livestock areas are mapped out.

The conversation about the animals
We ask which pets go outside and what they are on. If the dogs kennel in a barn or the cats live outdoors, we say plainly that the vet side has to be current or the yard visit will look like it failed.
