Why a well-kept Roanoke yard can be the worst one for mosquitoes

Most Roanoke lots fall between $49.95 and $79.95 a visit. A subdivision lot of 7,001 to 12,000 square feet is $59.95, the larger corner and greenbelt-backing lots of 12,001 to 17,000 are $69.95, and the few properties approaching an acre reach the top bands or get quoted. The shared 76262 ZIP with Trophy Club and north Keller is irrelevant to the price.
There is no season to buy up front. Visits are billed as they happen, there is no contract, and stopping mid-summer costs nothing. Should the yard flare up between scheduled visits, we come back and re-treat under the warranty. The lot square footage and the matching band come back from /instant-quote, usually the same day.

What a Roanoke homeowner should not expect from the program
The greenbelt is not ours to treat. Creek corridors and HOA green space behind Roanoke fences breed and shelter mosquitoes we never touch, and a share of them drift into a treated yard every evening. The barrier removes the adults resting and breeding on your side of the fence, which is most of the bites, and honest expectations stop there.
Your irrigation schedule can work against every visit. Sprinklers running nightly keep the mulch and the foliage wet, which is ideal for mosquitoes and also rinses product off the lower leaves sooner. Watering deeply two or three mornings a week instead of a little every night does as much for mosquitoes as it does for the turf, and we will suggest it.
Three weeks is the honest working life of a treatment in summer heat, less after a storm, and that is the whole reason for the 21-day interval. Nobody sells a fog that holds until September, and if a Roanoke neighbour says theirs did, they were lucky with the weather.

Is Home Defender enough, or do you need the mosquito program too?

If the only complaint is the patio at dusk, the mosquito program alone answers it.

The technician checks where the beds are irrigated, how deep the mulch sits against the slab, which shrubs shade the wall and where the yard meets the greenbelt. That tells us where the adults are resting and where the fog goes.
Fogging beds, canopy and fence shade
The backpack fogger passes through the shrub beds, tree canopy, fence line and deck skirting, and turf and bed edges are treated for fleas and ticks. Flowering plants are skipped, and a pollinator garden is marked off if you mention it before the visit.
Naming the breeding sites
Sprinkler heads that puddle, French drains, gutters, the saucers under patio pots and any low spot that stays wet get pointed out, and what cannot be drained gets larvicide. A large team keeps first appointments inside a week, with slots held open for new signups.
