A treated yard does not mean zero mosquitoes. It means the resident population is suppressed enough that you can sit outside at dusk without giving up after ten minutes. On a 21 day treatment cycle, most North Texas homeowners get their evenings back from May through September.

What realistic looks like

Anyone promising you a mosquito-free yard is overselling. Mosquitoes fly in from neighboring property and always will. What treatment does is stop them breeding and resting on your land, which is the large majority of what you were dealing with.

The difference people actually notice

Customers rarely describe it as a count. They describe it as being able to eat dinner outside, or the kids playing until dark without coming in covered in welts. That is the honest measure, and it is the one worth judging us on.

Stacking the odds on an evening

• Run a box fan on the seating area, because mosquitoes fly poorly against moving air
• Avoid dark clothing at dusk
• Empty anything holding water that afternoon
• Skip the citronella candles and use actual repellent if you are staying out late

When a treated yard still bites

Two common causes. The first is a breeding source we have not found, often a French drain or a neighbor problem, and we will go looking. The second is heavy rain right after an application, which shortens the interval. Either way, call us and we come back.
